CLIMB-FOREST: Forest management in Europe for the coming decades

Forest stakeholder meeting, Asker, Norway, 5-7 October 2026
In this meeting we will present model simulations of Europe’s forests for the next century. The simulations will cover a wide range of management alternatives. Based on this, we will ask European stakeholders representing forest owners, forest industry, forest protection, forest recreation and forest officers to select their recommended forest management. We will interact with European forestry journalists. Can we reach consensus solutions? Welcome! Travel:
